Slip road on M61 closed after crash
An exit slip road on the southbound M61 has been closed following an accident, say Highways England.
The accident happened at around lunchtime on Tuesday, May 1 near to junction 5 near Bolton.
Emergency services are in attendance at the scene where a vehicle is reported to be on its roof at a nearby roundabout just off the motorway network.
Drivers who want to leave at junction 5 are advised to continue to the next junction.
There are no delays currently being experienced on the motorway as a result of the accident.
