Firefighters face rising number of calls to help rescue obese people
Fire crews were called to a motorbike fire at the back of a house in Heysham Road on Wednesday night.

Crews were called to the scene just before 11.30pm.

They used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is to be established. There were no casualties.
