Fire crews called to garage fire
Crews from Preston fire station were called to a blaze at a commercial garage on Great George Street in the city on Wednesday evening.
Two sets breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a triple extension ladder were used to to extinguish the fire, which affected the corner of a flat roof as well as the garage itself.
There were no casualties reported.
